These photos show my test aquarium before and after using AquaBed®. After adding AquaBed® beneath the substrate, the plants established stronger root systems and grew significantly - eventually requiring pruning every few months. As you can see from these before and after photos, the plants have tripled in size over a short period of time. 

Healthier Plants, Healthier Fish

A thriving planted tank supports more than just plant growth. In this aquarium, the angelfish were purchased as juveniles in 2012 and matured into a breeding pair. With a stable, healthy environment, they laid hundreds of eggs and successfully raised fry over the years. The angelfish lived a long healthy life of about 10 years with the aquabed substrate. The plants from this tank are still alive 14 years later and growing strong.
